Snomads Snofari Club, Inc. is proud to be the major source of Snowmobile Safety Classes in southeastern Michigan as well as a continuing sponsor of instructor training seminars in cooperation with the Michigan DNR.
This course is open to persons of all ages who wish to learn safe snowmobile operation, but it is required for students from 12 – 17 who want to operate a snowmobile without direct adult supervision.
Pre-registration is required. To earn your Snowmobile Safety Certificate and to be ready for safe riding this winter, students must attend 7 hours of instruction, pass a written exam, and be 12 years of age before March 31, 2011. Classes are taught byState certified instructors who are members of the Snomads Snofari Club.
